Thank you!

Hi, I'm Angelique

Firstly, THANK YOU very much for taking the time to be here right now! I'm sure you've read so much already that your eyes are tired, but excited for the next chapter! So I'd rather not spoil the reminiscing from the story you've just read and keep this short and sweet ...

As you now know, I'm from South Africa, a 'afrikaanse boere vrou',  Sims Boffin, Graphic Designer, Fine Artist, Muralist and Newly Blogger. also a single mother who recently got married on 26 October 2019 with the most wonderful, loving, caring and handsome (did I mention a gamer as well lol) husband, but most importantly, he's an amazing step dad to my son! Yip we're still in forever honeymoon phase.             The beautiful photo you see on top, is me and my two handsome men. This photo was taken by one of our best friends, on our most blessed day ever! He's an amazing photographer - Donovan Marais - you can check out some of his work on Instagram @vanthepan

I'm an almost 33yr old, who still can't get over Sims *no surpise there* haha! I've been a Sims fan since February 2000, the 24th is my birthday (can you guess what my birthday gift was?        )  I love to write and reenact books using Sims 4, I will spend hours customizing and fine tuning Sim's characters, not to mention the building! Shoh! Don't get me started, I would sit for hours on end just creating dream homes, hospitals, schools, shopping malls etc. - every little detail I can think of, all just to fit their own little story-look-and-feel.

With all that being said, it brings you to my point right here:

Understanding my deep appreciation for any coffee bought. Not many know about the struggle in this country. I have decided to take this bold step into blogging for good reasons. Firstly I LOVE to write and tell stories, secondly, to create a job for myself to help support my family, proceeds will go towards my son's school tuition and whatever he'll need to secure a good future for him. It'll be a helping hand towards supporting my family. I've been trying my best to keep business a float doing murals and freelance designs, it was time to do more. I've been wanting to do this blog for so many years, but circumstances made it almost near impossible. So as I did my research and finding out how to share my stories on the Sims Forums and general research on blogging and courses, I just knew, blogging was the next professional step for me. I know there's still lots to be learned, so as this blog grows, with a lot of help, especially from expert bloggers as yourselves, including advice and ideas received from all of you, I'm already a success. I appreciate all my muses, each and every Simmer out there supporting me and everyone else who enjoys reading my stories, you are all amazing beings!

Once again:

"Ek wil net 'n duisend dankie's sê vir almal se ondersteuning"

I just want to say a thousand thank you's for everyone's support

Sincerely

Angelique
